The grapes for this wonderful wine are 99% Cabernet Sauvignon, clone 337 from the Monticello Vineyard, and 1% Cabernet Sauvignon, clone 4, from the Kreuse Canyon Vineyard. When we first tasted the clone 337 Cabernet in January 2013 with our consulting Winemaker Paul Hobbs, we knew this wine was special.
